Won the SD25 Republican assembly in April 2026 with a decisive 90.6%, a clear mandate from the delegates of Broomfield, Northglenn, and Westminster.
Three Supreme Court Wins
Co-authored three amicus briefs in landmark U.S. Supreme Court cases, protecting children from irreversible medical interventions, defending parental rights, and overturning Colorado's conversion therapy ban. All resulted in victories.
Defended the First Amendment
Sued the Colorado state legislature, represented by the Institute for Free Speech, after being silenced during public testimony. Took on compelled speech and government censorship, and won.

Colorado native Dr. Rich Guggenheim is an internationally recognized agricultural scientist and proven leader. With a Ph.D. in Plant Science and decades of experience directing large-scale agricultural and regulatory programs, he brings a rare combination of scientific expertise, executive leadership, and principled advocacy to the race for Senate District 25.
As Legislative Director for a national nonprofit, Rich helped shape strategy to protect children and parental rights. A staunch defender of the First Amendment, he sued the Colorado state legislature after being silenced during public testimony. He co-authored three amicus briefs in landmark U.S. Supreme Court cases — all resulting in victories — and was invited to the White House to advise on protecting Title IX.
Rich has traveled to every county in Colorado to advance ballot measures protecting fairness for girls in sports, shielding children from medical harm, and strengthening penalties for child sexual abuse. As a whistleblower at the Colorado Department of Agriculture, he witnessed waste and retaliation firsthand — reinforcing his belief that government must serve the people, not punish those who demand accountability.
Now he is bringing scientific expertise, whistleblower courage, and unwavering advocacy to the State Capitol on a clear "Colorado First" platform.
